At around 1700 EST the power went out in most of north Waterloo and parts of southern Waterloo. I don't know what the cause was but I hope to find out during the day. The computers went down of course (not the ones at home because this corner of town survived the blackout). The electricity was restored at around 2200 EST. So from 1700 till 2200 was spent playing board games and whatnot!
